Creamy & Dreamy Vanilla Ice Cream isn’t just a dessert—it’s a love language. Smooth, rich, and packed with that classic vanilla goodness, it’s like a hug for your taste buds. Made with fresh cream and a splash of pure vanilla, this homemade delight is perfect on its own or as the MVP of any dessert spread. Whether it’s cozied up next to a warm brownie or drowning in chocolate syrup, every bite is pure, scoopable happiness. Simple? Yes. Boring? Never. One taste, and you’ll wonder why you ever settled for store-bought!
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 C Half and Half
- 1 1/2 C Heavy Cream
- 3/4 C Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 C Heaping Dry Milk Powder
- 2 T Vanilla Extract
In a bowl combine the sugar and the dry milk powder. The dry milk powder helps the ice cream to not freeze super hard and helps with the creamyness of the vanilla ice cream. Whisk the sugar and dry milk powder together, then add the rest of the ingredients and whisk together, the sugar will not totally dissolve and that is fine. Follow your ice cream maker’s instructions and freeze for at least 6 hours after. I love my whynter ice cream maker! This recipe is made specifically for it and it produces a half gallon of vanilla ice cream. It pair perfectly with the homemade brownies!!
